Beverly donates to the Bottomless Toy Chest and helps kids with cancer!

This winter Beverly students had a toy drive for the Bottomless Toy Chest! The Bottomless Toy Chest is an organization that is devoted to donating toys to children who have cancer and have to undergo unpleasant treatments while being in the hospital. These toys brighten the spirits and distract sick children which helps them recover quicker. They also let these kids have a choice which they don’t get to have often.

After about a hundred toys were donated to the school, me and a few other Beverly students went and delivered the collected toys to a Bottomless Toy Chest warehouse. We wrapped a few of the donated toys from our school and bagged some smaller gifts. These toys will be delivered to children with cancer in Michigan hospitals.
